But several myths make it difficult or even impossible to choose the right equipment, though dispensers are a tangible economic benefit, convenience, and high level of hygiene. 1. All dispensers are the same

Types of Built-in Dispensers
Dispensers are designed to deliver the filler in one of two ways: by a mechanical push or automatically, using a sensor.
Mechanical devices are usually used in kitchen sinks. It is enough to press a small lever to get a portion of detergent. In the manufacture, materials resistant to corrosion are used: stainless steel (polished or chromed), bronze spraying, granite coating, copper, impact-resistant plastic, and enameled ceramic.
Another type of soap dispenser where the soap drips if you bring a hand or a sponge, the touch-sensor, is used less often in the kitchen. The device, equipped with a sensor, dispenses small portions of the contents at a time and is not designed for a long service life. This is inconvenient when dishes are washed often and in large quantities.
In addition, the sensor unit can fail prematurely because of the accumulation of moisture. It is more expensive, but compared to the mechanical, it saves a lot of soap.
Dispensers for kitchen sinks are quite unified. Models differ in several parameters of the internal mechanism: the type of jet, the ability to change the dosage, the presence of an element that foams the contents. How to Install a Kitchen Soap Dispenser
A hand soap dispenser or bottle of commercial soap can be in the way when it clutters the countertop around the kitchen sink. A convenient alternative is to install a built-in liquid soap dispenser. Soap dispensers come in a variety of styles and finishes to match your faucet. Some assembler kits even include a matching soap dispenser.
Installing a built-in soap dispenser can be a very easy DIY project, especially if your kitchen sink has an extra hole for it.
If there is no hole available, you can also drill another hole in the sink or countertop to install the soap dispenser. In our project, however, we assume that the existing knockout is available.
Tools and materials you’ll need:
- Soap dispenser kit.
- Channel-type pliers or wrench
How to Install the Liquid Soap Dispenser
- Remove the knockout hole on the top of the sink. Insert the pump handle fitting through the cover plate and into the hole, using either foam or the rubber washer it was installed with to seal the top.
NOTE: If your dispenser did not come with a washer, use plumbing putty. This ensures that water cannot leak from the top of the sink when the soap dispenser gets wet.
- Be sure to center the soap dispenser. In many cases, the opening is larger than the body of the soap dispenser, and this leaves you room to center it as you like.
- From under the sink, apply the mounting nut to the shank of the soap dispenser and hand tighten to hold it in place. Double-check the position of the soap dispenser over the sink before tightening all the way. Use a pair of pliers or the sink to tighten just a little more than your hand.
- Screw the soap dispenser bottle onto the body from under the sink. It should be smaller than your hand.
Now you can fill the soap dispenser by lifting it straight up to the soap pump to remove it and pour the soap on top. Use a small funnel to help get the soap in the hole if necessary.
